Conspiracy Theorist Hired As Diversity Recruitment

Filed under: Uncategorized — polisnark @ 4:44 pm

Progressive critics are criticizing the Bush administration for hiring a conspiracy theorist to analyze al-Qaeda.  Contacted by Polisnark after an extensive search of obscure tropical resort locations, a former Bush administration spokesman initially expressed incredulity that anyone still cares about anti-Bush carping.  Pressed for a response, however, the official noted that it is odd that progressives are complaining about inclusion a core progressive demographic — conspiracy-minded professors.

“We were only trying to be bipartisan,” said the spokesman.

In response, a TPMMMM spokesperson said the Bush administration claim was specious.  “We had a list of certified, peer-reviewed, and unionized anti-Bush conspiracy theorists with tenure,” she noted.  “If they had been serious about diversity, they could have just asked us.”
